Writes control loops for 115‑lb robots, was offered $300K+ in STEM scholarships, and is now building a company.
First-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo. Four years as an FRC lead programmer, a summer at a YC startup, and since July 2026, co-founder & CTO at LibeCode.
I’m from Mississauga and just started Computer Science (co-op) at Waterloo, class of 2031. I graduated from Rick Hansen Secondary with the highest average in my class, a Schulich Leader nomination, and 5s on three AP exams.
I spent four years as lead programmer on FRC Teams 1285 and 1241 (2,000+ hours of PID loops, odometry, vision, and path following), interned at SalesPatriot (YC W25) through Harvard’s HUVTSP, and in July 2026 co-founded LibeCode, where I lead engineering.

LibeCode
I am currently working on LibeCode with my co-founder. We are advised by professors at the University of Toronto and McMaster, with go-to-market mentorship from a co-founder of Vena Solutions. Coming soon.
This beautiful creation is FRC Team 1241’s 2025 robot Haku. After a demanding and exhilarating build season, these were our accolades: finalists at two regional competitions, Excellence in Engineering Award at McMaster, Industrial Design Award at provincials, 3rd place in Hopper’s (division at the FRC World Championship) playoffs, and Hopper’s Judges’ Award. As the lead programmer, working with Haku was truly an unforgettable experience.
CrimeWatcher forecasts neighbourhood crime risk across Toronto. I trained a gradient boosted model on 474,819 Toronto Police incident records, scored all 158 neighbourhoods, and rendered the result as a live choropleth. The features are lag, seasonal, and spatial terms built in Pandas, and the last six months are held out so the model is never scored on data it has already seen. It's paired with a mobile app where a spoken safe word sends your GPS location straight to the dashboard as a live pin. Next.js and Leaflet on the front, Supabase underneath, Expo for the app.
OJuggle is a 1v1 soccer keep-ups platform. Two people go head to head and the app scores the trick difficulty, so flashier moves earn more points. We built it in a 90-minute window at Code the Cup, hosted by Google Developer Groups Toronto at Northeastern University. We didn't have a soccer ball on site, so the demo ran on a hoodie stuffed in a blue bag. We won 1st place.
Have you ever been reading and come across unfamiliar concepts? I have, and constantly switching between tabs to learn a topic kills my “flow state”. This is where Intellisage comes in. A google extension powered by an OpenAI API, Intellisage summarizes and provides definitions for highlighted text, allowing users to keep their search to one tab.

Project R.O.S.E. came to life at PDSB's largest hackathon: Wolfhacks 2025. Over the course of 10 hours, my team and I tackled the problem of waste management in a futuristic city. The first part of the solution was a Java-programmed app made using Android Studio to raise awareness about the dangers of poor waste management. Next, we created a python-coded AI using Gradio and Transformers to distinguish between different waste materials. Lastly, we built a MicroBit prototype of a machine which would break down plastic using bacteria. Thanks to our time management, collaboration, and technical skills, my team and I won the hackathon while creating a project to help the community.

Student Skill Swap
Inspired by the unique skills we accumulated from our friends and community, Nikolay and I created Student Skill Swap: a platform where students can teach or learn skills from one another. By providing an email, school board, name, and password, students can get straight into networking and learning. All it takes is a simple search, and relevant user profiles of students in the same school board as them will pop up!
Built during a six-week internship at SalesPatriot (YC W25), placed through Harvard's Undergraduate Ventures-TECH Summer Program. The dashboard tracks where the company's AI gets things wrong: it flags hallucinations in model output, sorts them by failure type, and charts the rates over time so the team can see reliability move instead of guessing at it. A partner and I defined what counted as a failure and the schema that stored it, which turned out to be most of the work, since scattered model output isn't much use until it's records you can count. Python and Flask on the backend, MongoDB for storage, Chart.js for the visuals.

LaunchScore
LaunchScore is a launch-readiness auditor for AI-generated storefronts. You paste in a store URL and get back an overall score, category scores, and a per-product breakdown of what's working and what isn't. It doesn't touch the store, it just tells the merchant what's costing them sales and what to fix first. Every finding is backed by evidence, either a check run in code or a comparison against real listings that sell well, so nothing in the report is guesswork. Findings are also tagged by type, which means results roll up across every store audited and Daybot can see which mistakes keep repeating. Built with a partner on Next.js and Supabase in about six hours, second place.
ExpenseCity is an expense tracker that renders your spending as a 3D city, where each building's height is the size of an expense. I built it at IBM's Bobathon, where it placed 2nd.
Leading engineering on an unreleased B2B product, advised by professors at the University of Toronto and McMaster. Building the MVP end to end: a Next.js frontend, Node.js/TypeScript services, an in‑house LLM gateway, and network‑isolated E2B sandboxes for running untrusted code.

FRC Dean's List Winner at Districts
Competing with 1285, The Biggest Birds, I won FRC’s Dean’s List Award at the 2024 Durham College District Event. Prior to the competition, as the lead programmer, I spent multiple 12-hour days during March break tuning the robot’s odometry (positional-tracking), optimizing its path following, and creating routines for subsystem interactions. As a member of the drive team too, I got to experience the absolute thrill of making in-game decisions and watching the robot be brought to life. Thanks to the team’s combined efforts, we went undefeated on day two and won the event with FRC team 1241 (the first time in school history both teams won together).

AFC Southampton Soccer Captain
Growing up, my favourite sport was Soccer. Whether I was in my backyard, at the park, or with family friends at a picnic, a soccer ball would always be by my side. This love for the sport led me to the rep team AFC Southampton, where I became captain for 6 years and led the team to multiple podium finishes in the Southwest Soccer League. My favourite memory of playing Soccer was when I scored a last minute volley off a corner kick to beat our rival team.

Hackathons
Hackathons are where I do some of my best work. I have won four of them, taking each project from an idea to a working demo under a tight deadline.
FRC Robotics
After FLL in middle school, I signed up for FRC in Grade 9. I started on Team 1285 as a drive team member and lead programmer, then joined Team 1241 as lead programmer. 4 years and 2,000+ hours later, I've learned PID control, OOP, motion profiling, odometry, vision tracking, and path following. Competed internationally 3x.
Basketball
Outside of school, I often play Basketball with my friends. We meet at square one, proceed to watch a horror or comedy movie at cineplex, and then head to the YMCA to grind out 2 hours of Basketball. These meet ups have not only allowed me to create invaluable memories, but they also satisfy my love of playing sports.
Powerlifting
My journey to this sport goes as follows: went to gym = wanted to get stronger = joined powerlifting. As a 4x medalist, I now hold my school's all time bench and deadlift records for the 66 kg weight class, and I also hold the title of not skipping leg day 💪.
CSMC Prep Club
Co-founded my school's Waterloo CSMC Prep Club during Grade 12. As co-president, I ran weekly study sessions and built custom slideshows to help classmates tackle the Senior Math Contest. The prep paid off. I won the School Champion Award at the 2025 CSMC and earned a Certificate of Distinction.
Data Science + ML
I got into data science and ML from hackathons. I'm currently working through a machine learning book recommended to me by Professor Periklis Andritsos at the University of Toronto, and building models on real datasets to get better at the fundamentals. Will continue pursuing these fields at Waterloo.
